Internship Opportunities

This year, our internship revolves around Yari Flow, our advanced subscription engine for Shopify, trusted by leading brands and designed for exceptional customisation and enterprise-grade performance. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate closely with industry experts.

Software Development Internship:

• Frontend Development:

  • Create engaging and customisable user interfaces using Vue.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.

• Backend Development:

  • Develop backend services using Go, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RabbitMQ, and ClickHouse to implement real-time analytics and integrations with Shopify.

  • Gain hands-on experience with Apache Superset for advanced data visualisation.

• Fullstack 

  • Help develop a new app (Yari Kaizen) for continuous process improvements using Ruby on Rails, Postgresql and TailwindCSS.

• Blockchain Development:

  • Contribute to our impactful "Giving for the Planet" initiative by contributing to the development of our transparent donation and voting systems using the Stellar blockchain and Golang.

• DevOps Engineering :

  • Help to deploy, scale, and monitor our real-time data streaming pipeline with Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, ClickHouse, and Golang microservices.

  • Implement CI/CD automation and advanced monitoring for reliability and performance.

UI/UX Design Internship:

• User Interface & Experience Design:

  • Collaborate using Figma and prototyping tools to design intuitive, customisable interfaces and visual themes for new Yari Flow areas.

  • Improve user engagement through iterative testing and feedback.

Project Management Internship:

• Lead and coordinate diverse intern teams, manage project milestones, facilitate agile workflows, and ensure successful feature launches within our structured internship framework.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.

• Passion for technology and eagerness to innovate.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organisational skills.

• Ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn new technologies.

Real Projects, Real Impact:

Dates: June 16 – July 25, 2025

Duration: 6-week intensive program

Phase One: Tech Deep Dive (Weeks 1-2)

Begin with immersive training sessions on your selected track (frontend, backend, full stack, blockchain, DevOps, UI/UX, or project management). Gain proficiency in technologies and frameworks crucial for your project's success, setting the foundation for practical, impactful work.

Phase Two: Yari Flow Experience (Weeks 3-6)

Join active development teams contributing to real-world features:

• Develop real-time analytics pipelines and interactive dashboards for Yari Flow.

• Enhance and customise the Yari Flow user interface and customer experience.

• Help evolve the transparent blockchain-based donation and voting platforms for environmental initiatives.

• Implement and manage robust deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Mentorship and Team Dynamics:

Dedicated mentors guide each team. You'll receive continuous support and structured feedback, ensuring professional growth and achievement of project goals.

Capstone Project: Launch Innovations on Yari Flow

The internship concludes with launching real, customer-facing features on Yari Flow, providing tangible outcomes and invaluable experience to kick-start your tech career.
